Mercedes Mone will join the rest of the wrestling world in watching the docuseries on Vince McMahon’s life and career, which will premiere on Netflix this Wednesday.
The series, titled “Mr. McMahon,” will debut on September 25th with six one-hour episodes. It covers the hush money scandal in 2022, both departures, and the Janel Grant lawsuit filed against McMahon, WWE, and John Laurinatis. As previously reported by Puck, McMahon tried to buy the doc from Netflix, which declined after seeing an early copy.
McMahon made a rare statement, noting that “a lot has been misrepresented” in the doc. While appearing on WFAN, Mercedes Mone was asked about the documentary.
She said, “I haven’t been talking to anybody. I stay in my locker room and stay in my lane. All I do know [is] I’m going to grab a blunt, I’m going to get some wine, and I’m going to be watching some Netflix. I can’t wait.”
Mone added that she hasn’t seen McMahon’s statement and that we will see what happens.
