Mick Foley got back into the ring on Saturday night when he made a surprise appearance at the OVW Nightmare Rumble. He did so when he showed up as one of his infamous personas.
Dude Love was back for the special appearances that saw Foley use Mr. Socko to eliminate a competitor. Fellow WWE Hall of Famer JBL was on commentary for the event.
Foley has made appearances for OVW in the past, as its booker, Al Snow, is good friends with Foley. Dude Love is a persona he got over in the Attitude Era in addition to Cactus Jack and Mankind.
The WWE Hall of Famer had considered working one more death match as a way to motivate himself to get back into shape last year. However, he decided against going through with it due to his health, as he had suffered a concussion that he didn’t realize at first he had.
