Mickie James’ return to in-ring action is set for next week.
After being out of action for more than a year because of an injury, James is set to wrestle Natalya next Monday night on Raw.
James returned last night in a backstage segment with Natalya and Lana and James said that she has her eye on championship gold. Before she can set her sights on a title, she will need to get past Natalya next week.
WWE sent out the following tweet, seemingly confirming the match for next week: “#SeeYouNextWeek. Sounds like @MickieJames will return to the ring against @NatbyNature NEXT MONDAY on #WWERaw!”
James was cleared several months ago after undergoing ACL surgery in July 2019. In recent months, she has been working on commentary on WWE Main Event.
Next week’s episode of Raw will be the go-home show for SummerSlam.
