Earlier today, WrestleVotes reported that Nikki and Brie Bella would be inducted into this year’s WWE Hall Of Fame.
Many of Nikki and Brie’s supporters were happy to hear this news and feel they deserve to go in just one year after they announced their retirement. However, others feel that there are other wrestlers ahead of them who should be inducted. Some have pointed to Demolition, Rick Martel and Miss Elizabeth as examples.
Mick Foley took to Twitter to say that Nikki and Brie are deserving of being inducted. Foley wrote, “I believe @BellaTwins are very deserving inductees into the #WWEHOF
Great athletes, excellent attitudes, mainstays in the Divas division for years before the women’s revolution – and were tireless ambassadors for @WWE well before @TotalDivas brought them mainstream attention.”
Foley is a big champion for women’s wrestling so it’s no surprise to see him giving his support to The Bella Twins. Quite frankly, they have achieved a lot and they do deserve the induction.
