It turns out that Enzo Amore and Braun Strowman weren’t the only WWE Superstars that were sick last week.
As reported by Raj Giri at Wrestling Inc, there were several sick Superstars at Raw and they were given an IV. While it wasn’t confirmed if they had the flu or some other illness, there were many Superstars that skipped out on New Year’s Eve plans.
As far as Amore and Strowman, Dave Meltzer reported that Strowman was described to him as being “violently ill” last weekend. As you might recall, he was pulled off the live events last weekend but seemed to be well by Monday for Raw. Amore has been cleared to return and could be back as soon as this coming Monday’s Raw. Amore claimed that his illness caused him to miss P. Diddy’s New Years Eve party in Miami. The flu was worse this year than in previous years in recent memory across the country.
WWE has posted a new “Where Are They Now?” episode on their YouTube channel. This time they are focusing on former WWE Superstar Hornswoggle. He still works on the independent scene as Swoggle and worked on some shows for Impact Wrestling last year but that is not covered in the video below. WWE chose to focus on his life outside of the ring in Osh Kosh, WI as a father and businessman running his own wrestling company.
It’s a really cool video. Check it out below:
