In what, perhaps, could be a sign that WWE might be turning the corner on women’s matches, WWE management really loved the Women’s title match from Monday Night Raw. That’s the word coming from Dave Meltzer on this morning’s Wrestling Observer Radio. That is good news and hopefully, this means that we’ll be seeing more focus put on women that can go in the ring. I hope that this means longer matches on pay-per-views as well.
WWE has already announced that Charlotte will get her rematch with Banks at SummerSlam. I don’t know that the plans are for the match but originally, Banks was supposed to challenge and defeat Charlotte for the title at SummerSlam. As we noted a couple of days ago, those plans changed because WWE management wanted to do some big things for the first post-draft edition of Raw.
Charlotte worked on the house shows over the weekend and she’s expected to be at Raw. She’s already hyping her upcoming rematch on social media:

I would highly suggest for everyone to check out the Wrestling Observer website. Today’s Wrestling Observer Radio is free for everyone and you can listen to the show by clicking below.
