Former WWE Divas Champion Nikki Bella recently spoke with Hollywood Life to talk to her about various topics that include winning an award for Best Actress in a Reality Series for Total Bellas as well as her future with her ex-boyfriend and former WWE Champion John Cena.
The couple announced their separation last year after dating since 2012 and being engaged for a year. Cena and Bella teamed up together for the first time back at WrestleMania 33 in 2017 where they defeated The Miz and Maryse. They were scheduled to get married on May 5, 2018, before separating.
This is where Nikki was asked how she would feel if Cena found someone else. Bella would later hint at a potential future with Cena.
“I always say that I would be OK [to see John with a new girlfriend], but I think no matter what, it’s always hard to see someone that you loved for so long be with someone else, but I honestly only care about his happiness. I just hope whoever that person is makes him the happiest man on earth because that’s what he deserves. You never know with the future, right? Sometimes people get back together, sometimes they don’t. I guess one day at a time.”
