Nikki Bella Says She Is Wrestling At WrestleMania 42 Despite Being Spotted In A Walking Boot At WWE Hall Of Fame

Nikki Bella was spotted wearing a walking boot at Friday’s WWE Hall of Fame ceremony in Las Vegas, but the former Divas Champion made clear in an interview at the event that she intends to compete at WrestleMania 42 this weekend.

Footage from the Hall of Fame shows Nikki with the boot on during the ceremony, raising immediate questions about her status for Saturday night’s Women’s Tag Team Championship Fatal Four-Way. Despite the visible concern, Nikki told Big E at the event that she plans to wrestle.

Nikki has been dealing with an ankle injury suffered on SmackDown several weeks ago, and her availability for WrestleMania 42 has been described as uncertain in the lead-up to the show. The injury raised the possibility of a replacement being needed for the fatal four-way, which also features Charlotte Flair and Alexa Bliss, Bayley and Lyra Valkyria, and champions Nia Jax and Lash Legend.

Whether Nikki will ultimately be medically cleared to compete remains to be seen. Reports indicate that a returning star is slated to replace Nikki in the bout if she cannot go. For more on that, click here.

The Women’s Tag Team Championship Fatal Four-Way takes place on night one of WrestleMania 42 on Saturday, April 18 at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas.
