No plans for Triple H to return to WWE NXT because of health issues

Don’t expect to see Paul “Triple H” Levesque back on WWE television anytime soon.

It was reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that there are no plans right for his return to NXT or for any creative work in the company because of health issues.

It was noted that if his health improves and if he wants to then that could change but the word going around is that a return for him is not something that people are talking about as something that is imminent.

It was also said that people at NXT are very happy with what Shawn Michaels is doing right now and the feeling is that he’s under pressure to make stars fast. So far, he’s helped make stars out of Bron Breakker, Carmelo Hayes, LA Knight, Grayson Waller, and Tony D’Angelo.

Dave Meltzer noted that this was not originally Michaels’ job when he was hired but things fell in his lap when Triple H had to step away with his health issue that WWE described as a “cardiac event.” It was also noted that people in the company feel that Michaels has a great aptitude for the creative process and understanding of how to make stars and make them stand out.

Triple H has not made many public appearances since the cardiac event but he did briefly appear on an NBC News broadcast recently. You can see the video at this link.
