The NXT Championship match is set for WWE NXT TakeOver: Portland.
On this week’s NXT TV, Tommaso Ciampa went into the ring with a table to signify what he wants to do with Adam Cole. On the big screen, The Undisputed Era were shown laid out in the backstage area and it was revealed to Adam Cole that Ciampa attacked his teammates.
Cole went into the ring and a fight broke out and Cole ended up getting powerbombed through the table in the ring.
Ciampa signed a contract that was brought out earlier by William Regal and he signed it and wiped his blood on it.
So the match is official…it will be Ciampa challenging Cole for the NXT Championship at TakeOver: Portland.
