ODB said on SoCal Val’s The Velvet Ropes on WrestlingNews.co that she has been lobbying for a WWE appearance through the TNA partnership and plans to keep pushing for one, noting that she is one of the few wrestlers in history who has spent her entire career exclusively in TNA.
“It would be cool. And that’s something I’ve brought up, and I’m gonna keep bringing it up. Hey, just one appearance or something. Even if it’s NXT or just something. I mean, come on.”
ODB said her exclusive TNA history makes her unique in a business where most wrestlers have worked for multiple promotions throughout their careers.
“I’m pretty much probably one of the only wrestlers that’s only been in TNA. You don’t really hear that a lot. A lot of people did TNA then did WWE, or WWE then TNA and AEW. And I’ve just been a TNA Knockout. I’ve never been anywhere else.”
SoCal Val agreed and said that is exactly why a crossover appearance would excite fans, because it would be a first and would carry the weight of seeing a lifelong TNA-exclusive talent on a WWE stage for the first time.
ODB has been wrestling for 25 years and recently returned to TNA for what she has described as her final run before retiring. She was called by Tommy Dreamer about the return and is currently teaming with Mickie James and Taryn Terrell.
ODB runs ODB and Big Al’s food truck in Minnesota with her partner Big Al.
