Paige Shows Off Bloody Head Injury Suffered On WWE SmackDown

Paige has shared graphic photos and videos of a bloody head injury she suffered during Friday’s episode of SmackDown, with the wound appearing to have come from a microphone strike by Nia Jax.

The segment saw Paige and Brie Bella interrupted by Fatal Influence and the Irresistible Forces, with Nia Jax and Lash Legend attacking the Women’s Tag Team Champions before Rhea Ripley made her entrance and had a stare-down with the two attackers. Footage circulated on social media showing Paige checking her head at ringside during Ripley’s entrance, raising immediate concern among fans.

Paige posted on Instagram to share photos and videos revealing the extent of the injury, a bloody cut on the top of her head. She captioned the post with a message attributed to her attacker.

“Nia Jax said, ‘Welcome back bitch,'” Paige wrote.

The specific cause of the cut has not been officially confirmed, though it appears to have resulted from the microphone spot during the Jax attack. Paige returned to WWE at WrestleMania 42 night one, replacing an injured Nikki Bella to team with Brie Bella and win the Women’s Tag Team Championships in her first WWE match since 2017.

WrestlingNews.co wishes Paige a speedy recovery.
