Pat McAfee trolled fans at WWE World during WrestleMania 42 week by playing a pre-recorded video on the venue’s LED board that teased a major surprise before devolving into McAfee insulting the crowd and hyping Randy Orton’s Undisputed WWE Championship match against Cody Rhodes.
The video (scroll down to watch) opened with McAfee teasing exactly the kind of announcement fans were hoping for.
“Huge surprise, nerds. The surprise that you thought was maybe going to be your favorite wrestler of all time, maybe somebody from AEW was going to sign with WWE at WrestleMania, and you marks were gonna get zipper burn all over yourself. Instead, well well well, Pat McAfee’s smarter than all you dumb marks yet again.”
The crowd booed as McAfee continued, telling fans he could smell them from his home state.
“Just know that I am on my way to the city that you creatures are certainly taken over. I can smell all of your lowlife disgusting bodies all the way here in Indiana. And when I get to that town, and I’m talking to you little kid on your dad’s shoulders too, when I get to that town you should all be thanking me and Randy Orton as soon as I touch the turf in the desert.”
McAfee then turned his attention to what he and Orton have planned for WrestleMania weekend.
“What me and Randy are about to do to your entire WrestleMania weekend is something that you can’t prepare for, you can’t control. And you, fat slob sitting right up close to the gate, you’re gonna be crying your a** off as you leave WrestleMania knowing that what was, what you all let happen, is over. And Randy Orton is about to run this industry back to what it’s supposed to be, out of your dumba** hands.”
McAfee closed the video by telling fans to watch his show, which would be broadcasting on the LED board for the next 30 minutes.
“Get some greatness in your life before the biggest weekend you nerds will ever experience. See ya at SmackDown tonight, marks.”
