Penta Issues Emotional Statement After Devastating Raw Ending

Following a controversial and abrupt end to his quarterfinal matchup in the “Last Time is Now” tournament, Penta took to social media to address his condition. The match, which took place on the November 24 edition of Monday Night Raw, was stopped by the referee after Penta appeared to suffer a legitimate injury following a hurricanrana on the outside of the ring.

Writing on X, Penta expressed gratitude to his supporters: “Thank you to everyone who has checked in on me. This injury tested my body and spirit, but it also awakened the strength that has always guided me. I am a Mexican warrior, forged in struggle, honor, and heart. And though the fall was hard, I rose with a fire stronger than ever.”

Respect For The Rival

Despite the frustrating conclusion to the contest, which saw Solo Sikoa advance to the semifinals to face Gunther, Penta offered high praise for his opponent. The “Zero Miedo” star highlighted the professionalism displayed during their brief encounter.

“To my rival, my deepest respect,” Penta wrote. “Thank you for your professionalism and for a clean, dignified battle. I recognize your dedication and honor.”

Future Implications

The injury comes at a difficult time, as Penta was reportedly scheduled to reunite with his brother, Rey Fenix, for a major tag team match at an upcoming AAA event in Mexico. While the specific nature of the injury—suspected to be related to his shoulder or clavicle—has not been officially confirmed by WWE medical staff, Penta’s message remained optimistic regarding his recovery.

“I will be back very soon, stronger, more prepared, and determined to finish what I left pending,” he stated. “Thank you for standing with me… because this war still has chapters to be written.”
