Peter Rosenberg’s attempt to be a heel just got cut down by Kevin Owens

Peter Rosenberg is not exactly a favorite amongst online fans and he is playing into that by attempting to become a heel to the “internet wrestling community” as he puts it. The heel schtick doesn’t seem to be working for him.

On Saturday, Rosenburg posted a clip from Tak Is Jericho of Kevin Owens talking about the headbutt spot with Vince McMahon from a couple of months ago. Owens said that he had heard feedback after the show from fans wondering why they would do a spot like that especially after Katsuyori Shibata suffered brain injuries from a headbutt spot just a few months prior. Owens, understandably so since he is constantly on the road, said that he didn’t know about the Shibata headbutt because he is not currently following New Japan Pro Wrestling.

Rosenberg tried to take that clip to make fun of fans that have taken him to task for not knowing much about wrestling outside of WWE. Owens fired back with this response:

“If my role for a certain company was to comment on things happening within said company and they had just hired some really talented wrestlers, I’d probably find a few minutes to learn who they are and where they come from before talking about them, though.”
