PHOTO: Chris Jericho Reunites With Kevin Owens Amid WWE Return Rumors

Chris Jericho reunited with his best friend at an interesting time, fueling more speculation about his wrestling future. The former AEW Champion attended Friday night’s Tampa Bay Lightning vs. Dallas Stars ice hockey game from the Benchmark International arena in Tampa, Florida.

Jericho was not alone for the outing; he was joined by his former WWE tag team partner and fellow Canadian, Kevin Owens. Jericho posted a photo of the two on his Instagram account. The timing of this photo is notable.

Jericho has been absent from AEW television for months, having not wrestled for the promotion since the Dynasty pay-per-view back in April. This extended break, combined with reports that his current AEW contract expires at the end of 2025 and that there is interest from WWE, has led to widespread fan speculation.

Many fans believe Jericho has done everything possible in Tony Khan’s promotion and is positioned for a return to WWE for one final run.  Chris Jericho and Kevin Owens were famously paired in WWE during 2016-17, leading to the memorable “List of Jericho” era and the “Festival of Friendship” segment.

Their story eventually culminated in a match between the two at WrestleMania 33. Check out the photo here:
