Positive development regarding AJ Styles injury status

WrestleMania is right around the corner and the card is starting to fill out in a big way. One of the top matches for the SmackDown Live Brand is the WWE Championship match between AJ Styles and Shinsuke Nakamura.

This dream match is a rematch in many ways from their Wrestle Kingdom 10 encounter for New Japan Pro Wrestling. If you want to see an excellent match, then check that one out. But a recent injury for AJ Styles made plenty of people nervous about whether he would end up replaced on the card.

But it looks like AJ Styles is better and ready to compete once again because Styles has been added to this weekend’s live events and he will team with The New Day to face Rusev Day with Shelton Benjamin and Chad Gable in Trenton NJ, Fairfax  VA, and Indiana PA.

It should also be noted that WWE is running advertisements for the Huntington, WV house show where AJ Styles will take on Kevin Owens, Sami Zayn, and Baron Corbin in a fatal four-way match next weekend.

It’s great to see AJ Styles is able to compete because he made a few people worried by not jumping in the ring to save Shinsuke Nakamura last week on SmackDown Live. But it’s a good idea WWE is keeping him somewhat protected in multi-person matches until the Show Of Shows.
