Positive News On El Hijo Del Vikingo After Injury Scare

AAA Mega Champion El Hijo Del Vikingo is not injured following his title defense against Chad Gable at the WWE x AAA Worlds Collide event on June 7.

Concerns for Vikingo grew after he was seen favoring his leg following the main event match, where he was put in Gable’s Ankle Lock.

However, PWInsider reports that there were no injuries coming out of the crossover show. Vikingo was present at the Money in the Bank event later that day with the report noting that he was likely just selling the effects of the match.

The Worlds Collide show, featuring talent from both WWE and AAA, was headlined by the Vikingo vs. Gable match. This event follows WWE’s announcement in April that it had acquired the AAA promotion.
