Former WWE NXT Superstar Priscilla Kelly, known during her tenure in WWE as Gigi Dolin, has deactivated her X (formerly Twitter) account following a controversy surrounding a scheduled professional wrestling appearance in Israel.
The situation unfolded rapidly on social media after it was announced that Kelly would be making her debut for the Israeli Pro Wrestling Association (IPWA).
The Announcement
The initial announcement was made by journalist Adam Cailler, who posted that the “ex-WWE/NXT star” would be appearing at the IPWA’s “Passover Bash” event. Kelly quote-reposted the announcement on her account, @HellsFavoritePK, adding the caption, “I’m going to Israel 😎.”
The booking was marketed as “HUGE news from the Israeli wrestling scene,” highlighting Kelly’s status as a former two-time NXT Women’s Tag Team Champion.
Backlash and Cancellation
Shortly after confirming the appearance, Kelly faced a wave of online backlash regarding the decision to perform in the region amidst the ongoing geopolitical conflict. In response to the reaction, Kelly posted a follow-up statement announcing her withdrawal from the event.
In her statement, Kelly wrote:
“I have made the decision to not travel to Israel for the show that was announced earlier. My intention was never to make a political statement, but to entertain those who were not tied to horrific humanitarian crisis, I do not want to be a part of this any further or give the idea that I condone the actions of the government in any way. I apologize for any harm this may have caused.”
Deactivation of Social Media
Following the publication of her apology and cancellation notice, Kelly deactivated her X account. As seen in screenshots circulated by wrestling news outlets like NoDQ.com, her profile page now displays no posts or media, indicating the account has been taken offline.
Priscilla Kelly performed in WWE under the ring name Gigi Dolin from 2021 to 2024, where she was a prominent member of the faction Toxic Attraction. Since her departure from WWE, she has returned to the independent circuit using her real name.
Kelly’s statement explicitly noted her desire to avoid making a “political statement” or appearing to “condone the actions of the government.”
this woman lost her job in WWE and had to go back to do it the hard way, but she didn’t let any of that change her beautiful heart or ruin her moral compass.
real ones show what they’re made of in the hardest times. we see you and we love you, Priscilla Kelly.
