WWE has already announced the first match for next week’s episode of WWE NXT.
However, only two competitors for the contest have been revealed with the third star not being named. WWE announced on today’s episode of WWE’s The Bump that Kushida, Cameron Grimes, and an opponent will face off in a triple threat match on NXT next Wednesday.
This will be the latest qualifying match. The winner of this contest will become the fourth wrestler to qualify for the ladder match for the vacant North American Title that is slated to take place at TakeOver XXX on Saturday, August 22.
So far, Bronson Reed and Dexter Lumis have already qualified for the ladder match. They did so when Reed defeated Roderick Strong and Johnny Gargano while Lumis defeated Timothy Thatcher and Finn Balor.
WWE has confirmed that Damian Priest, Ridge Holland, and Oney Lorcan is the next qualifying match that will take place during tonight’s NXT episode.
Lumis’ status is currently in question as WWE has announced that he’s injured. The ladder match will feature five wrestlers in total.
