Raja Jackson, the son of UFC legend Quinton Rampage Jackson, has cut a plea deal to resolve his criminal case stemming from a violent attack on a professional wrestler at a Knokx Pro Wrestling event in August 2025.
Jackson pleaded no contest to one felony count of battery with serious bodily injury at a preliminary hearing on Wednesday, according to a spokesperson for the Los Angeles County District Attorney’s Office. The New York Post reported the news. He also admitted to two special allegations, including personal infliction of great bodily injury and engaging in violent conduct.
His expected sentence includes 90 days in actual county jail, restitution of $81,703.38, and two years of formal probation. Sentencing is slated for late June. The DA’s office noted that Jackson is required to pay restitution before he is sentenced.
The case originated from an incident in August 2025, when Jackson climbed into the ring at a Knokx Pro Wrestling show and attacked Stuart Smith, known as Syko Stu. Jackson slammed the independent wrestler on his head and continued to rain punches down on his face despite Smith appearing to be unconscious, only stopping when other wrestlers in the venue intervened. The altercation had been preceded by a confrontation between the two in a parking lot before the show.
Smith was hospitalized following the attack. The incident drew widespread condemnation from the professional wrestling world and prompted an LAPD investigation. It also led WWE to sever all ties with Knockx Pro Wrestling, which had previously been part of the company’s ID affiliate program.
In the aftermath of the attack, Rampage Jackson himself publicly stated that he believed his son should serve some jail time and do community service as punishment for his actions.
