As noted earlier, the Target Center in Minnesota is advertising Sasha Banks for tonight’s WWE Friday Night SmackDown.
Bianca Belair does not yet have an opponent for SummerSlam but it looks like the person to challenge her for the SmackDown Women’s Championship will be Banks.
Banks has not wrestled since losing the SmackDown Women’s Championship to Belair at WrestleMania 37.
PWInsider is reporting that the belief is that Banks has not been featured on WWE TV in recent months because she has filming material for Disney+ under her Koska Reeves character from The Mandalorian for a future Lusafilm series.
Another name scheduled to return soon is Becky Lynch. Andrew Zarian noted on the Mat Men Pro Wrestling podcast that Lynch is currently scheduled to return as part of the SmackDown roster. There is no word on when she will make her return.
