Former WWE NXT star Dan Matha was arrested on Monday in Orlando, Florida.
Matha, who is 32-years-old, was charged with failing to appear in court. This is a first-degree misdemeanor. As of this writing, the reason for why he was originally scheduled to appear in court is unknown.
Matha was signed by WWE in the fall of 2015 and was released by the company back in April due to budget cuts related to COVID-19.
He was last seen inside of the squared circle in WWE back on March 7th at an NXT live event in Orlando, where he was defeated by Tyler Breeze in a singles match.
Before he was released by the company, Matha was hospitalized after being involved in a serious car accident. At the time of the wreck, he showed off photos on Twitter including the brutal injury to the back of his head that he suffered.
