Released WWE Star Teases In-Ring Return

It appears that one former WWE wrestler is ready to get back inside the ring and start the next chapter of his career.

Damon Kemp, real name Bobby Steveson and brother of Gable Steveson, signed with WWE in August 2021. He was initially part of Diamond Mine, but he later turned his back on the group and was paired with the No Quarter Catch Crew.

As previously reported by Fightful. While Kemp was considered good in the ring for his level of experience, and nobody had anything negative to say about him, the company didn’t renew his deal. WWE has a ton of athletes under NXT deals and is bringing in more often, leading to the company making some hard choices on who to keep.

His brother Gable was released earlier this year after it was reported that he “wasn’t cutting it” as a pro wrestler. Kemp’s non-compete clause expired last month.
