Renee Young provides COVID-19 update while sending reminder to fans

Renee Young recently took to her official Twitter account in order to send a reminder to fans about wearing a mask to prevent spreading the coronavirus.

In the process, she gave an update on her recovery from COVID-19. By using past tense, she noted that she “had COVID” when referring to the virus.

Young publicly announced on social media on June 24 that she had tested positive for the virus. It was later reported that after losing her sense of taste and feeling sick with pressure on her chest, she was bedridden.

A few days later on June 27, it was reported that the WWE personality had improved from the worst symptoms although at the time she was still tired and her chest felt heavy.

Based on her recent tweet, it appears that she’s over the virus. She wrote the following:

“Just a friendly little reminder: wearing a mask can literally be saving yours or someone else’s life. As someone that’s had covid – trust me, you don’t want it. Be safe. Take care of each other.”

After teasing the reveal of a big announcement, Young announced back on July 1st that she has written a cookbook with over 70 recipes listed. For more on that, click here.
