WWE got some great news with the Raw viewership numbers.
The return of Roman Reigns to provide an update on his leukemia treatment and the hype for Ric Flair’s birthday celebration helped draw the biggest WWE Raw numbers since last summer.
The show averaged 2.92 million viewers, up from last week’s ratings that were helped by the curiosity from the Elimination Chamber fallout.
It was clear that fans returned to the show to see what Roman Reigns had to say as the first hour drew 3.17 million viewers. However, the usual drop from the first to the third hour was still there. The second hour was watched by 2.95 million viewers and 2.65 million viewers stuck around for the third hour that featured Ric Flair’s birthday celebration that was turned into an angle to kick start the Batista vs. Triple H match for WrestleMania.
Here is the hourly breakdown:
Hour 1 – 3.17 million viewers
Hour 2 – 2.95 million viewers
Hour 3 – 2.65 million viewers
Raw was the third most-watched show on cable last night.
