Rhea Ripley: ‘Jade Cargill Is Now Going To Remember Me As The B**ch That Beat Her’

Rhea Ripley is a WWE Women’s Champion again, and she had nothing but respect for the woman she took the title from.

Ripley defeated Jade Cargill in the night two Women’s Championship match at WrestleMania 42 in Las Vegas. At the post-show, Ripley was asked about the build to the match and how personal things had gotten between the two in the weeks leading up to the show.

“Every single flashback over the last month just flooded my brain completely. All the sly comments that Jade was throwing my way to try to diminish me and the name that I built here in the WWE. She claimed that she was better than me and claimed that she didn’t need to do the things that I’ve done, jump through the same hoops that I jump through. I give her credit where credit is due, she made a massive name for herself, but at the end of the day, she is now going to remember me as the bitch that beat her,” Ripley said.

When asked whether anything about Cargill impressed her, Ripley did not hesitate to acknowledge what she faced inside the ring.

“I’m never going to speak down on someone when they’ve actually shown me they can go. Jade, she brought it tonight. She had me lying on the mat,” Ripley said.

The win marks Ripley’s return to the top of the women’s division. She will make her first appearance as the new champion on Friday’s SmackDown.
