Rob Van Dam says he is feeling good after suffering an injury last April. The Hall of Famer has not wrestled since he broke both his heels during the MLW Battle Riot match on April 5, 2025.
RVD was a surprise entrant in the match, entering at number 40. He was eliminated when Matt Riddle pushed him off the top turnbuckle to the floor. RVD landed on his feet, resulting in the injury to both heels. During his recent podcast, RVD provided an update on his condition and teased that he might wrestle more in 2026 due to the number of booking requests he is receiving.
“I am right now just wondering, maybe I’ll wrestle a little more than I thought I would this year,” RVD said. “I feel awesome. Training really hard and training good, sleeping good.”
RVD confirmed that the injury he suffered at last year’s Battle Riot is no longer preventing him from training effectively.
“The last match I had was in April when I broke both of them for MLW. And so it’s been a bit of a comeback. I haven’t wrestled since then. I imagine my feet will be probably a little bit sore, but they’re not holding me back now from running, training, spinning, kicking.”
