Believe it or not, not everything you hear on WWE television is said in truthfulness. Sometimes a character can act in one regard but really be another way in real life. You wouldnโt normally picture a guy like The Miz agreeing with Roman Reigns, but it turns out thatโs exactly what happened.
Miz recently spoke to Mike Jones of DC 101 when the Big Dogโs name was brought into the conversation. In a surprising turn of events, The Miz really put Roman over in a big way. He said Reigns has the โIt Factorโ that so many other WWE Superstars would kill for.
โRight now, heโs a really big good guy or a really big bad guy, it all depends on the way you look at it. Heโll walk out and get booed out of the building or heโll walk out and get cheered out of the building. But the one thing that Roman Reigns has is the โit factorโ and heโs a bonafide star who can go in a WWE ring.โ
Miz went on to discuss the fact that so many other WWE Superstars canโt handle the truth when itโs put in front of them. Miz discussed how he likes to use his verbal abilities to get under his opponentsโ skin to gain a psychological advantage. He talked about how if you canโt handle the Miz and his prowess on the microphone then itโs probably a good idea just to stay away.
โThatโs the problem with everyone, like everyoneโs not honest around WWE. Iโm the person that will tell you straight up to you face, whether you like it or not, and most of the time people donโt like the things that I say. But what I say is the truth and sometimes the truth hurts and I guess people canโt take it. And so if you canโt take it then I guess you shouldnโt be in the ring with me with a microphone, you should just get away from me. Thatโs why Iโm the Intercontinental Champion, my job is to make it them most prestigious, most relevant title in all of WWE and thatโs exactly what Iโm doing.โ
Whether you agree with the Miz about Roman Reigns is a personal choice. But itโs hard to argue Mike Mizanin is one of the best microphone workers in WWE.
