WWE World Heavyweight Champion Roman Reigns is bringing some serious star power with him to Madison Square Garden this weekend.
WWE has announced that Reigns will be joined by New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson at Saturday Night’s Main Event. According to the company, Reigns extended the invitation to the point guard on social media, and Brunson accepted.
The pairing will unite two of New York’s biggest names, as the World Heavyweight Champion stands alongside the leader of the reigning NBA champion New York Knicks at the famed arena. WWE is billing Brunson as “The King of New York,” playing up his status as a hometown hero.
The appearance sets up an intriguing moment, with fans left to wonder exactly what Brunson has planned once he arrives at MSG alongside “The Tribal Chief.”
