WWE shared some great news today as Roman Reigns has been medically cleared to return to work after testing positive for COVID-19. It was also announced that the Universal Champion will appear on Friday’s SmackDown to confront Brock Lesnar.
Reigns had to pull out of his title defense against Lesnar at the Day 1 event this past Sunday due to him having the virus, which caused concern as he has beaten Leukemia and is immunocompromised.
WWE added Lesnar into the WWE Championship match that made it be a Fatal 5-Way with Big E, Seth Rollins, Kevin Owens, and Bobby Lashley. Lesnar ended up winning the WWE Title.
Lesnar will defend the WWE Title against Lashley at the Royal Rumble, but WWE still has future plans for at least one more match between Lesnar and Reigns.
