Roman Reigns' next Undisputed WWE Universal Title defense is still undecided

It’s been two months since Roman Reigns defeated Brock Lesnar to unify the WWE and Universal Championships, but "The Tribal Chief" has still yet to defend his Undisputed WWE Universal Title.

Originally, WWE had tentatively planned that Reigns would defend the title against Matt Riddle on July 2nd at Money in the Bank, Randy Orton on July 30th at SummerSlam, and Drew McIntyre at the Clash at the Castle UK stadium show on September 3rd.

His status for Money In The Bank was said to be 'up in the air' after WWE moved the pay-per-view from Las Vegas' Allegiant Stadium to the smaller MGM Grand Garden Arena and Reigns was pulled from the advertisements for it.

Dave Meltzer reported in the latest edition of the Wrestling Observer Newsletter that WWE has still yet to make a final decision on when Reigns' will actually defend the championship. The company is considering whether to have Reigns wrestle at Money In The Bank as originally planned or to wait until SummerSlam in late July.
