Ronda Rousey’s road to WWE has taken a lot of twists and turns along the way. Speculation has surrounded her possible involvement with Vince McMahon and Company for some time but it looks like all that waiting is coming to an end. It’s been three years since her WrestleMania 31 tease when she put Stephanie McMahon on her back with The Rock and Triple H looking on in shock and then Rowdy Ronda took Trips out too. Now she will sign her Raw contract at Elimination Chamber and start her new career as a full-time WWE Superstar.
Just having Rousey attached to the company is worth a ton to WWE, especially as they look to their eventual television contract negotiations and Rousey is finishing up with her final project before her first appearance on the Raw brand in Las Vegas.
PW Insider reports Ronda Rousey has completed her portion of filming for Mile 22 and was in the WWE Performance Center this Monday and Tuesday to prepare for her transition into the WWE Universe.
It might only be a matter of time before she starts popping up on merchandise like backpacks and notebooks along with other WWE Superstars. After all, she’s already featured on the tickets for SummerSlam.
