The Ronda Rousey-Gina Carano Fight Peaked At Nearly 17 Million Global Viewers On Saturday Night

The Ronda Rousey vs. Gina Carano fight on Netflix peaked with nearly 17 million global viewers and averaged 12.4 million viewers across the triple main event card, Netflix announced Tuesday in an official press release citing VideoAmp, G&G Closed Circuit Events, and first-party data.

In the United States, the triple main event averaged 9.3 million viewers. The fight generated 1 billion impressions across Netflix’s global social media channels and dominated trending topics on X in the United States, with #RouseyCarano holding the number one spot all evening. The fight was also the number one trend in Brazil and number three in the United Kingdom.

Rousey defeated Carano in 17 seconds via armbar submission. Mike Perry defeated Nate Diaz by TKO before the third round. Francis Ngannou knocked out Philipe Lins in the first round. The card took place Saturday, May 16 at Intuit Dome in Los Angeles and was presented by Nakisa Bidarian and Jake Paul for Most Valuable Promotions.

CM Punk was among the stars at ringside, along with James Cameron, Jon Jones, Anderson Silva, Marshawn Lynch, Barry Bonds, Tommy Lee, Sebastian Maniscalco, Carmen Electra, David Spade, and others.
