Ronda Rousey says Vince McMahon robbed the women’s evolution with WrestleMania change

WWE Raw Women’s Champion Ronda Rousey has given her reaction to WWE Chairman and CEO Vince McMahon making a change to her opponent at WrestleMania 35.

After Lynch had won the Women’s Royal Rumble Match, she earned the right to challenge for either the Raw or SmackDown Women’s Title at this show, which she ended up picking Rousey.

However, now, with McMahon announcing that Lynch would be “suspended” for 60 days, Charlotte Flair will now take that role. The theory was that Lynch vs. Rousey would serve as the main event for WrestleMania 35, which would’ve marked the first time that female talent would headline this event.

Rousey gave her reaction in a post on her official Instagram account where she made it known that if her match against Flair at Survivor Series last year didn’t headline then they won’t get the main event spot at WrestleMania. She wrote the following:

“This isn’t what’s best for business. This isn’t what’s in demand. I have no idea what the hell this is. Vince McMahon doesn’t even believe in his own girl @MsCharlotteWWE – If he didn’t make us the main event of #SurvivorSeries he’s sure as hell not making us the main event of #WrestleMania. The #WomensEvolution was robbed tonight.”
