Sami Zayn Explains How He Escaped Wyatt Sicks’ Attack On WWE Raw

Unlike his former rival, Chad Gable, Sami Zayn managed to avoid Wyatt Sicks’s arrival on Monday’s WWE Raw episode.

The debut happened as the lights went out, and then the opening note of Bray Wyatt’s theme song played on repeat before we saw a door open with a light shining. At the gorilla position, we saw several people laid out, some of them appearing to be dead. Nikki Cross crawled out to a lantern at the top of the stage before we saw a gorilla where Chad Gable, Gunther, etc., were shown beaten, and the set was destroyed.

The group walked out to the arena to close the show. Erick Rowan, Dexter Luis, and Joe Gacy were all in masks. Bo Dallas portrays Uncle Howdy.

Following the show, Zayn plugged his upcoming comedy show in Toronto, being criticized by fans for doing so. While speaking with Sportsnet, Zayn explained how he avoided the attack.

Zayn said, “Yeah, I actually didn’t even know that happened because I left the arena right after my thing was done. So, maybe five or ten minutes before all that stuff happened on Monday Night Raw, I had no idea, and I left the arena and didn’t look at the results of what happened or anything. Then, I get to my hotel, and I tweet out the presale code for my comedy show, and all of the replies from the fans are like, ‘Your co-workers have been killed. What are you doing tweeting out the comedy show?’”
