WWE is saying that Samoa Joe has been fined for an incident at Pittsburgh International Airport on Monday.
The “incident” being referred to by WWE is just a storyline. One of WWE’s content producers walked up to Joe at the airport and asked him if he was responsible for the forklift incident that nearly seriously injured Roman Reigns last week on SmackDown Live.
As seen below, Joe knocked the phone out of the producer’s hand and WWE later said on their website that he has been “suspended” for the incident.
Of course, unless there is a late change, the plan is not for Joe to be revealed as Reigns’ attacker. Click here to find out who is scheduled to be revealed as the person who attacked Reigns last week.
