WWE has just announced that they have suspended Samoa Joe for violating the company wellness policy.
WWE issued the following statement:
“WWE has suspended Nuufolau Seanoa (Samoa Joe) for 30 days effective Monday, February 24, for his first violation of the company’s talent wellness policy.”
There were rumors, reported by WrestleVotes a couple of weeks ago, that Joe recently failed the company wellness policy. However, company sources denied that to be the case and cited a concussion as the reason why he was off TV.
It is clear now that WrestleVotes was correct. Joe reportedly suffered a head injury last week during a commercial shoot so he was already off the road again.
