Former WWE Universal Champion Seth Rollins has defended Renee Young over criticism about her WWE announcing on their flagship show, Monday Night Raw, and pay-per-view events.
Over the weekend, Young responded to a person on her official Twitter account who describe every WWE announcer except Mauro Ranallo and Nigel McGuinness as “shi**y.”
This led to Young responding to the fan, which you can see here. Since taking over the role, Young has improved but there is a vocal minority who don’t like her commentary.
Rollins saw the negativity and decided to defend Young by writing the following:
“No idea how I got tagged into this thread/these tweets, but @ReneeYoungWWE is a trailblazing badass and awesome at her gig and if anyone uses their cowardly thumbs to belittle her then I hope those folks drown in their shame. You rock Renee.”
