Seth Rollins reaches milestone as WWE World Heavyweight Champion

For the majority of 2023, Seth Rollins has been the face of the WWE Raw brand as the World Heavyweight Champion, which many people consider to be the workhorse title of the company, considering the reason behind the creation of the title.

Although the original plan was for the WWE and Universal Titles to be separated after a Roman Reigns loss at WrestleMania 39, plans changed. Thus, a top prize for the Raw brand was made.

Rollins became the champion at Night of Champions by beating AJ Styles. Since winning the title, Rollins has defended it against the likes of The Miz, Damian Priest, Bron Breakker, Finn Balor, Dominik Mysterio, and Shinsuke Nakamura at television, premium live events, and house shows.
