Adam Pearce delivered his Sunday update on social media Sunday afternoon, previewing the go-home edition of Monday Night Raw before WrestleMania 42. Pearce announced that five major superstars will be appearing live in Sacramento, including both World Heavyweight Championship participants for Night 2 of WrestleMania.
The show takes place tomorrow night, Monday April 13, from the Golden 1 Center in Sacramento, California. It airs at 8 PM ET on Netflix.
What Pearce announced
Pearce opened by joking with the wrestling internet that he was holding his cards close this week.
“Less than a week from WrestleMania, and I am live. Adam Pearce here in Sacramento with your Sunday update as I prep for Monday Night Raw, the last Raw before WrestleMania. And for those of you who always complain that I give everything away on the internet, today’s your lucky day, because I’m holding my cards very, very close.”
He then went on to announce five names appearing live on the show.
Roman Reigns to send a message to CM Punk
“Roman Reigns. He will be live and he will have a very special message for his WrestleMania opponent, the Heavyweight Champion of the World, CM Punk.”
Brock Lesnar and Oba Femi
“How about Brock Lesnar? How about Oba Femi? You’ve seen what’s happened between those two the last couple weeks, and they’re both live tomorrow night in Sacramento.”
Gunther and Seth Rollins
“How about the Ring General Gunther, and how about Seth Freakin’ Rollins? How about both of them live after everything that’s gone on?”
CM Punk live to respond to Roman Reigns
“You can’t have WrestleMania and you can’t have one World Championship opponent without the other one, so I will deliver the best in the world, Heavyweight Champion of the World that is, CM Punk live tomorrow night.”
