Daniel Bryan is now cleared to compete in a WWE ring once more. This is amazing news but it could only be the tip of the iceberg of awesomeness.
The fact is that WWE has evolved considerably since D-Bry had to retire. Plenty of new faces are now part of the roster including Shinsuke Nakamura. The King Of Strong Style and The Bearded GOAT have expressed interest in competing against each other in the past and now that Bryan is cleared to compete once more, it looks like this dream match could become a reality.
Dave Meltzer noted on Wrestling Observer Live if AJ Styles isn’t cleared to compete at WrestleMania, Daniel Bryan would be an excellent replacement. That means WWE would have to go with their backup plan for Shane McMahon’s tag team partner but it might be a worthwhile consolation.
Nakamura tweeted out a message which said Bryan’s medical clearance is great news and “no one needs to wish anymore.” Now fans can see it happen with their own eyes and Nakamura wants fans to see him compete against Daniel Bryan.
I’m guessing #NakamauravsBryan is going to be a trending hashtag until WWE finally books this match and possibly even afterward. Let’s hope it happens sooner than later but it all depends on what kind of schedule WWE and Daniel Bryan can work out in the meantime.
This is great news. No one needs to wish anymore. They can see it with their eyes. #NakamuravsBryan
