There had been talk when WWE was negotiating their TV deal that they would be offering Smackdown live on Tuesdays to sweeten the deal. WWE hasn’t officially commented on Smackdown’s status until today. Variety asked today if Smackdown would remain on Friday’s or if the show would move to Tuesdays. The response they got was that the show “currently” airs on Friday. I believe that has been the response given to anyone that has asked so it appears that the show will be staying on Fridays.
