Sol Ruca Blacks Out Her X Account Following Fan Backlash

Sol Ruca appears to have stepped back from social media once again, blacking out her account on X following a wave of fan criticism.

The backlash stems from WWE’s recent live event in Birmingham, England, where Liv Morgan retained the Women’s World Championship in a fatal four-way match that also involved IYO SKY, Lyra Valkyria, and Ruca. During the bout, Morgan appeared to tweak her leg on the landing of a splash from Ruca, coming up favoring it and finishing the match with a visible limp.

In the aftermath, some fans directed criticism at Ruca over the spot, and the Women’s Intercontinental Champion subsequently blacked out her X account.

It isn’t the first time Ruca has dealt with this kind of online scrutiny. Earlier this year, she opened up about the negative reaction to a botched Sol Snatcher during a Raw segment with Becky Lynch, revealing that Triple H had personally called to reassure her and encouraged her to stay off social media. Ruca has spoken candidly about how heavily negative comments can weigh on a performer, noting that a single harsh remark can outweigh an outpouring of positivity.

As for Morgan, the champion moved to ease concerns shortly after the event, posting on social media that she was fine. Neither WWE nor Morgan has issued a formal statement on the nature of any injury or whether it could affect her title reign.

Morgan is scheduled to face IYO SKY in the finals of the Queen of the Ring tournament at Night of Champions on June 27 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.
