Some people in the investment community are interpreting the comments from the Vince McMahon Forbes interview as Vince saying that he would be willing to sell the company. The speculation is that if that happens that he would still be in charge of the company but monetize the ownership value for his family before he passes away. That would mean that major corporation would be in control.
The feeling is that even if Vince sells a stake in the company that he wouldn’t be replaced unless he is too old to function at his job. The companies that are most likely the best fit (and being speculated) are Madison Square Garden and Liberty.
