The card for WWE WrestleMania 36 is listed in the latest Wrestling Observer Newsletter. Three matches have been officially announced and others are obvious based on storylines. Some will not be announced until after the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view.
Please note that there are some spoilers below but here are the matches scheduled for WrestleMania 36 in Tampa:
WWE Championship
Drew McIntyre (Champion) vs. Brock Lesnar
WWE Universal Championship
Roman Reigns (Champion) vs. Bray Wyatt
WWE NXT Women’s Championship
Rhea Ripley (Champion) vs. Charlotte Flair
WWE Raw Women’s Championship
Becky Lynch (Champion) vs. Shayna Baszler
WWE SmackDown Women’s Championship
Bayley (Champion) vs. Naomi
Edge vs. Randy Orton
AJ Styles vs. The Undertaker
John Cena vs. Elias
Women’s Tag Team Championship
Kabuki Warriors (Champions) vs. TBD
Note: If I were to guess, I would guess Nikki Cross and Alexa Bliss as their opponents. The IIconics are a possibility but they have not been featured on TV in a long time. Click here for news on why they disappeared from WWE TV
Women’s Battle Royal
Participants TBD
Men’s Battle Royal
Participants TBD
In addition to these matches, there is at least one more women’s match planned for the show. They have been giving TV time to Lacey Evans and Sasha Banks is returning so that would be a logical match.
It’s also worth noting that Hulk Hogan is not listed on the card. I mentioned his name because he said that he’s been training in hopes to get cleared to wrestle one final time. If there are plans for Hogan then it would have to be a last-minute surprise. Anything is possible since the NWO will be inducted in the Hall Of Fame that weekend and he will be backstage during WrestleMania.
