The Undertaker will be returning to the ring next Sunday for WWE Extreme Rules and there are plans for him to wrestle next month as well in Toronto.
According to local advertising in Toronto, The Undertaker is scheduled to wrestle Drew McIntyre in one of the big main events for the show.
As always, the card is subject to change but this match makes sense since Taker and Roman Reigns are scheduled to face McIntyre and Shane McMahon at Extreme Rules. It would make sense for them to set up singles matches after Sunday night.
The belief in WWE is that Taker’s new contract includes multiple appearances and matches per year and SummerSlam is one of their biggest shows of the year so it would make sense for him to be on that show, under the terms of the new deal.
We should get more hints on the direction for SummerSlam by Sunday night at Extreme Rules. SummerSlam is scheduled for Sunday, August 11 at the Scotiabank Arena in Toronto, ON.
