WWE United States Champion Andrade is scheduled to return to action later this month after he finishes his 30-day suspension for failing the company wellness policy.
The reason why the decision was made not to have him drop the title to Humberto Carrillo is that Paul Heyman felt it was too early in the story to have Carrillo win the title. Heyman is a big supporter of both Carrillo and Andrade.
Now, according to Sports Illustrated, it looks like Andrade’s days as champion are numbered. According to SI, their sources say that Andrade may not make it to WrestleMania as champion.
Andrade’s title is not on the line at Super ShowDown so if he is going to lose the title soon then it would have to be on an upcoming episode of Raw or at the Elimination Chamber pay-per-view.
There is no word on who Andrade will drop the title to, but Carrillo seems to be the most obvious candidate.
