Last week, we reported that Dean Ambrose was ready to return to action after rehabbing his triceps tendon injury. The plan is for him to return to help fellow Shield member Seth Rollins in his feud with Dolph Ziggler and Drew McIntyre.
The Wrap is reporting that Ambrose is scheduled to return on tonight’s Raw, the go-home show for SummerSlam. Ambrose has been out of action since last December during the middle of a mini-Shield reunion.
It’s unclear if he will be in a match at SummerSlam or if he will be there as a cornerman for Rollins but the belief is that he is healthy and ready to get back into the ring. Last week, it was explained that Roman Reigns could not get involved in Rollins’ business before SummerSlam because Stephanie McMahon did not want to risk putting his match with Brock Lesnar in danger.
Tonight’s Monday Night Raw will take place from Greensboro, North Carolina and will focus heavily on building up Sunday’s pay-per-view.
