Earlier this week, WWE announced that Edge and Christian would be inducting The Dudley Boyz into the WWE Hall Of Fame. That came together after Edge appeared on Sirius XM’s Busted Open Radio and Bubba Ray invited him and Christian to do the honor. Bubba also said that he would like Matt and Jeff Hardy on the stage with them.
Aside from The Dudley Boyz, we don’t know who will be there to induct the other class of 2018 Hall Of Famers because WWE is keeping things quiet. However, if plans are still on course, then Paul Heyman will be inducting Goldberg. That was first reported in the Wrestling Observer Newsletter. That is not set in stone because that was the plan as of January but both WWE and Paul Heyman were attempting to keep that a secret.
Goldberg is friends with Heyman and Brock Lesnar so it makes sense personally for Goldberg. In fact, Goldberg and Lesnar remained friends after 2004 when they left the company after WrestleMania XX. Goldberg was in attendance to support Brock Lesnar when he fought Shane Carwin at UFC 116 in 2010. If plans don’t change then this would be the first time that Heyman would be inducting someone. I am sure that he will give an amazing speech.
On a related note, there is one major name that is in talks to return to WWE. If he returns then he could be involved in the Hall Of Fame ceremony to induct someone. Click here to read more.
